We Have Our Daddy Back!

Tax season is O-V-E-R!!!

We drove out of town as soon as we could!

We stuffed our car as best we could because we lost our Thule key AND our trunk wouldn't open that morning. The dog didn't have much room for the hour ride it took to drop her off at my parents.

We skipped FL this year and went to exciting NH!

We went to a FUN indoor water park.

Alanna is in hot pink, Trew is right behind her.

Trew is wearing the lime green life jacket and blue swim trunks.

After coming down the green kiddie slide a pre-teen boy ran into him pushing him over the edge make him skid ON his face for two feet until his legs fell to the ground. Trew screamed and bled everywhere, the boy felt really bad.

This picture doesn't do his boo boo's justice.

The big kids loved going down the big water slides. They all loved the wave pool--Sean and I almost let a few of them drowned. They gave out free towels, life jackets and swim diapers. It is a nice 82 degrees in the building year round. We'll definitely visit again.

The next morning we woke up and have a free breakfast in 0ur hotel before we went to a children's museum.

Alanna pretending to be Rapunzel.

"Mother knows best"

Dallin LOVES space!! He knows a lot about the planets--he can tell you which plants have moons and how many!

  • Trew's nickname for a few weeks was 'Adolf'.

Trew loves beagles because his doggy is a beagle. He carried this dog around the whole museum, it even watched the magic show with us.

Alanna and Dallin LOVE Slim Jim's--which they wouldn't eat accept their new diet includes oh, ANYTHING that's disgusting and bad for you. Lucky bums!! So for a treat for ALWAYS swallowing their pills with EVERY meal without complaining EVER I bought them this monstrous Slim Jim's--they were very pleased with their surprise. Embree and Trew were eating beef jerky which is a favorite family snack--they all love it.

The next night we went to a movie theater called Chunky's to see Rio. You sit at long tables in actual Lincoln car seats (very comfy) and eat dinner while you watch the movie. I was a little worried it wouldn't work but it did and was very fun. The seating gave everyone a good view, the menu/food was great and the kids sat still.

The next morning we went to Ihop-my favorite--breakfast food! Then we headed home. Sean had the whole next week off so we just chilled. I know Sean especially appreciated the down time, he really works SO VERY HARD for our little family.

We love indoor waterparks. We've gone the back two january's and will probably continue to make it a tradition. How fun! Next you should just come to VA.
