A few weeks ago we went on our first camping trip of the summer.
We went up early and spent the day playing in the sunshine!
Then we roasted hot dogs and marshmallows for dinner. Bridgette came up with the BEST idea for smores. Chocolate covered graham crackers! You can skip the huge chunk of chocolate then never melts the way you want it. Instead you can toast a marshmallow and place it between two little pieces of heaven!

We had the most perfect summer weather and all slept great. After breakfast Sean took all of our kids off for a walk to the playground in their PJ's.
We got to go to the Maine Whoopie Pie Festival the next day. YUM! The brownie whoopie's were my favorite!
The girls got a pony ride, which they loved.
Trew loved jumping in the bounce house. Poor Dallin wanted to participate in the kids whoopie pie eating contest but we missed it. He was very sad.
Ah, it was such a nice weekend--minus the poor service we got at lunch. Can't wait to do it again.

Camping! That looks like so much fun. I love that idea of chocolate covered graham crackers. I'm going to have to steal that. Your kids are getting so big! I'll have to call you soon so we can talk---let me know when a good day/time is for you!
