Vacation

Tuesday.

On the plane headed for Florida, bring on 15 days of fun and sun!

Wednesday.

Off to Magic Kingdom, nope take that back we got to Magic and it was PACKED. More packed then we had EVER seen! (which is saying a lot because we go during April and Thanksgiving break, the two busiest times of the year) I guess the day before they had to close all four parks because they were full to capacity! (they re-opened them a few hours later once some people left) Crazy huh? The economy is hurting too bad, eh? Well, because it was so busy we decided to jet over to Epcot instead.

Dallin got to go on Soarin' for the first time! Thanks to Mimi, she watches the little ones for us so much while we go on the rides with the bigger ones.

Thursday.

Spending some more time on the swing. It's so nice to sit outside at 9:00am and have it be 70 degrees!



We tried Magic Kingdom again.

Friday.

Hollywood Studios.

I had really strange de ja vou when I took these pictures.



Dallin is totally into Star Wars all of a sudden, which is perfect because they are having Star Wars weekends right now.

Dinner at the 50's Prime Time Cafe.

This is a great restaurant! The malts and food are yummy, but you better use your manners or watch out! If you don't keep your elbows off the table you may end up standing and singing a little song for everyone. We witnessed a lady, in her thirties, who was LESS then impressed she had to sing because she didn't clean her plate! If your not eating your vegetables you'll get a "chugga, chugga". Which is your server chugging (like a choo-choo train) a bite of food into your mouth. Several times we had to bang on the table to encourage some punishment or another. It's REALLY fun! While we we lucked out with a mild mannered server, Sean should have kept his mouth shut. At the very ended of our meal Sean told our server that his mom had her elbows on the table, she didn't like him trying to throw her under the bus. She insisted Sean was being a trouble maker, she got every one's attention and had Sean stand up walk to the wall and hold a napkin to the wall with his forehead, while everyone yelled STOP BEING A TROUBLE MAKER!

Saturday.

Lunch at Pizzafari.

They have my favorite food in all of Disney World, even better then the caramel apples. (which I love) This sandwich is SOOO good. Ham, cheese, tomatoes with pesto, and ceasar salad all on pizza bread. I had three in the two weeks we were there. I really want one right now.

Safari.

We had some really good safari rides this trip, we got to see almost every animal real close up. Trew actually fell asleep on our last ride. Which is funny because he's a brat on every ride and because it is REALLY bumpy.

There was no line for the poor old dude. Trew wanted to say hi though. He almost ripped his head off a few seconds later, I believe he almost knocked him over too. His handler grabbed Trew to get him away from him. (I was trying, but he got there first)

Sunday.

Dallin got to pick a lemon from Mimi and Grampy's lemon tree. (bush?)

Trying to get a picture of the kids. This picture says volumes about how much Trew loved our vacation. He was the worst! (sorry Trewy) He hated EVERY, SINGLE, RIDE. He squirmed, screamed, and fussed. However, he loves to ride in the stroller and walk around. He did just fine every night at dinner and even rode in the car to and from great. (he usually hates any car ride over, uh, 5 minutes) Who knows what his deal was.

Thursday.

More Magic Kindom.

We met up with our friends Betsy and Brad, who were vacationing in Orlando the same time we were. It was so cute to see the kids go on the rides together. We ate at a REALLY yummy Mexican place for dinner, that we'll definitely be eating at again.

Boy was it hot that day! Trew was the happiest getting wet! He LOVES the water.

Friday.

I had to put this picture in because I was about ready to SQUEEZE TREW'S HEAD OFF! He was being such a punk! I did a pretty good job of hiding my rage, don't ya think?

Easily the best place to meet Mickey. There was no line!

It was a miracle to get this picture on the first try. We must have all been really full.

Saturday.

Sean and I driving to the temple at 6:30 in the morning.

The temple is about 25 minutes from Mimi and Grampy's house. Only about 10 minutes from Disney. We always try to get there while we're down there, because we're about 4 hours from the temple at home. It was a BEAUTIFUL morning!


We hit Epcot for the rest of the day.

The three oldest at the Coke pavillion tasting different Coke's from around the world. A cast member tried to trick Sean into tasting Germany's. (which is nasty, it's VERY bitter) He had tasted it a million times, but he pretended that he haden't. He downed the cup and said "yum, it's my new favorite" she just stared at him with her mouth open, shocked. I finally told her he was teasing her and he has tasted it before and he didn't like it.

There is this "jumping water" in Epcot that our kids love. We had quite a crowd watching our kids try to get wet.

They had a ball getting soaked! Dallin and Trew took it to the face and LOVED it! The group of teenagers were laughing so hard at us, you can see in the last picture them taking over our spot once we walked away.

Sunday.

At the temple the day before someone told us that Elder Holland was going to be speaking at Stake Conference the next day so of course we decided to go. It was incredible. He gave the best talk! He gave an Apostolic blessing to everyone, which was SO neat! After we went to the temple with the kids. (it's across the street from the Stake Center) We were all kinda grumpy from sitting so long and from needing lunch but it was still special. Of course Trew wouldn't cooporate for a picture. Surprise, surprise.

Monday.

7am breakfast at the Monorail house. (aka The Contemporary Resort)

We had never eaten at Chef Mickey before it was delicious! It might become a regular from now on! Look at their little faces, they loved it!


Back to Magic Kingdom.

Two weeks at Disney can really wear a boy out!


Though we have no pictures we did hit Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Epcot all in our last day. We had to do some things one more time before heading home. Like eating my sandwich, one more Lion King show, the Backlot Tour, the new American Idol Experience (way cool) Toy Story ride, (again new family high score goes to Megan and of the 12 times we rode it I won all but two!!!) Rockin' Rollercoaster, the Beauty and the Beast show, the Nemo ride, Spaceship Earth, and we stayed late so we could watch Illuminations.

We flew home on Wednsday.

They had a lot to do during our three hour lay-over in Baltimore.

It's good to be home!
