For our 13th anniversary this year we went down to Boston to go to the temple.
We love the temple and had a great day!
We did sealings for a long time. Clay Christensen (area authority seventy in the Northeast and author of The Power Of Everyday Missionaries.) and his wife came into our sealing room and asked if we'd help them do a bunch of family names. Of course we consented! He interrupted Pres. Zoglio (councilor in the temple presidency) at one point and said "Pres. Zoglio, these two people are in love!" Everyone had a good laugh! I do adore my husband!
While we did lots of temple work Duke called Kathy and asked her if she wanted to drive down (an hour) so we could all go to dinner. What a friend, she agreed and we had the best three 1/2 hour dinner at The Cheesecake Factory in Burlington. We got to meet little Zach the newest little DeWitt! He's absolutely adorable, he is one lucky boy to join their family! We had our last anniversary dinner with the Duke and Kathy so we might make it a tradition!
We spent the night in Burlington and headed back home in the morning. We drove up route one once we got to Maine and went to the beach where we had our wedding pictures taken.
I can't remember what we were laughing at-but it was funny!
Continuing up route one we found the BEST Mexican restaurant, it was SOOO good! For sure the best Mexican we've had in the State of Maine! We stopped in Freeport and then got home in time to take the kids to the trunk or treat at church. (We've been away I think two or three years so they haven't been able to go.)
