Embree was so excited she's been counting down the days to clinic!
A picture of her in the hearing booth for her hearing test!
We got to see Kim! One of the things Embree was most excited about!
We just love her and really miss seeing her.
Embree and Ledger playing in the playroom.
When we walked in to see Dr. McGill and Dr. Tableman Dr. McGill went right to Ledge and was fascinated with some of his anatomy. Paula (clinic coordinator) and I were laughing and laughing! He is very good at what he does and he just couldn't help himself! He also checked out the same feature on me and Embree.
Consensus? Orthodontia as soon as we can get an appointment. Dr. Tableman let me know that he won't be practicing for very much longer and it would be in Embree's best interest to have her work done by the same person. He said an estimate of ten years! With expander, bone graft, braces and reverse head gear. She actually has some permanent teeth we didn't think she had, well they could be other teeth just coming in in the wrong place but any teeth coming in around the cleft in her alveolar ridge is exciting! Dr. Tableman will work out the entire plan with Embree's orthodontist. Which made me feel very assured. He has more than 30 years of cleft team experience! Just earlier this week I was relieved to notice that we'll have Alanna and Dallin's Vest's paid off by the end of the year. Just in time to start paying for orthodontia!!! What luck?!?!
