CAMPING

This is our second camping trip of the summer. We went up to Baxter State Park this weekend with Betsy/Brad and Bridgette/Gary. "The Ladies" and children went up Friday afternoon to set up camp, the boys followed a few hours later. The three of us set up those tents in record time......because the black flies were HORRIBLE!! After we got the tents set up a park ranger came and told us all about all the bears that have been around. Bridgette asked him if the food would be okay in the cars, to which he replied: yeah, the bears have only gotten in a few tents!!!! You should have seen the look on my face! Silly me we were camping on Bear Brook! Some of us did a dance of joy when at eight o'clock we finally got some more people camping right next to us. (The whole camping area was reserved but it was just us until they showed up) We had a great time. The kids all played and slept really well. Where are we going next?
